 Today in class we worked on our group presentation. So far we are almost done knocking down the key parts. I am almost done with my part of the presentation. Today class has been the hottest it has ever been. Hopefully the school can fix the A/C.

 Today in class we read Act one Scene four of Fences. We also took notes on characterization beforehand. Today in class I learned that there was two different types of characterization. There is direct and indirect characterization. Today school was extremely boring. I am glad to hear the school might be cancelled tomorrow and Friday.

 Today in class we had to quickly read Fences due to ID pictures. The book reminds me of the movie clip of the interaction between Troy and Corey. This scene shows how tough masculinity is portrayed in an African American household. School today felt long due to it being a boring Tuesday. Today I had an off day so I went to the gym.

 Today in class Mr. Rease was absent so we did a NEWSELA assignment. The assignment was funny to me because millions of people listen to google rather than a real professional. I tend to fall in this category too. Class today was very calm. I have work today so I will be staying up late at night today.

 Today in class we took a quick assessment. It was short and easy, and I got a 100 on the assessment. Today was more of a chill day. I have work today and I plan on hanging out with my friends this weekend. Can't wait to see what the weekend awaits!

 Today in class we ready Fences. Troy is my favorite character due to him being the funniest. The book so far has been a good read. I am glad I already read and got it out of the way. School today has been fun. I can't wait to go home and watch Netflix.

      So far my Senior year has been off to a great start. My grades are coming strong this school year just like every school year. I find it neat how every year certain teachers have a roof tile painting assignment for the new freshmen class. It makes the school's roof look aesthetic. This year I am working and doing school so I can generate much affluence, while being a student. I am really adroit in math this year. Everything just hits me easily and I already learned most of the stuff. I have great animosity toward Ap Government. I should't have taken an AP my Senior year so I could have chilled all year.     One thing I noticed this school year is the aggrandized number of students. This has caused the air to become more adulterate. There are too many germs in this school. I was left agape after seeing the amount of students in the hallways on the first day.  Today in class we took notes on Fences. Life for an African American was tough back then. Lack of education and opportunities is one of the main factors for this. School today was boring. Today I have to work so that will also be boring.

 Today in class we worked on our new set of vocabulary words. I am familiar with about 3 of the words. These words can help me improve my vocabulary. Today, school was calm and nice. I can't wait to go home and relax.

 Today in class we had a class discussion. I enjoyed hearing everyone's opinions and point of views on how they interpreted the essay. The whole essay was sarcasm after the author wrote the rhetorical question at the bottom. I enjoyed the vibe of class today.  I can't wait to eat Chick-fil-a this afternoon.

 Today in class the exercise revealed that society has set tough expectations, for both men and females related to gender roles. Nowadays we expect so much from each other and let outside factors influence the way we live our life. Females seem to want an alpha high earning man, while men want more of a caregiver/maid type of wife. English class was unique today learning about gender roles and societal expectations. I can't wait to eat my Publix sub and watch Netflix later today!

 Today in class we talked about gender roles, sex, sexual orientation, gender, etc. Culture and backgrounds can influence gender roles. In addition, gender roles might not always be the same in all countries. Today school was boring without my phone. I finally got my Chromebook so things are smooth now.

 The vocabulary quiz in class today was quite easy. Everyone finished their presentations today. It was cool to see everyone's journey growing up until now. Today was a good day at school. Gym basketball was fun today. I can't wait to see my friends tonight.

 Today in class I enjoyed listening to everyone’s presentation. It was cool to learn about other people’s backgrounds. It was cool to see mostly everyone had tougher relationships with loved ones as they grew up. Overall, today has been a good day. I can’t wait to eat Cookout today!

 Today in class I finished up my story map. I added the finishing touches. I added photos and I added titles to each slide. It has been a smooth transition back into school. Labor day weekend was fun. I chilled with friends  and family.
