Blog Assignment 8/28/24

 Last year I was in conflict with my mother. I wanted to transfer out of private school, but my mom would not let me. We fought over this for weeks. During the couple of weeks we were fighting, we rarely talked. My mother saw how much I hated the school and finally gave in. One of the main reasons I wanted to transfer was because of the lack of diversity Marist had. Me and my mom now have realized Lakeside High School is a better fit. The school helped me find who I truly was, which I was not able to do at Marist. Since then, me and my mom’s relationship has gotten a lot better.

 Prompt Response: The most beautiful creation in the world is us. God made us in his image which goes to show you we are the most beautiful creation in the world. We have made this world what it is. We have discovered and made unbelievable things. While we can get crazy sometimes we have done unspeakable things.  Summary: Today in class we did a CommonLit assignment.  Prompt Response: In 4th grade I was in my Black History program. I was very scared because I hate large crowds. I handled it by taking deep breathes and believing nobody was in the room. Everyone should so this. It makes the time go by faster and helps you calm down. Summary: Today in class we took notes on formal and informal language. Reflection:  Today in class we took notes on formal and informal language. School today was boring as always. I can't wait to go home and chill.
