 Prompt Response: Common stereotypes that I believe about high school students is that there is always a nerd and goth group. These were true because I have seen people who have lived and breed books. They are also people with 4.0 GPA's. I have also seen the goth/emo group. They are a lot different from many people. Prompt Response: I always thought all Asians were smart, strict, and showed no emotions. I would look at an Asian and automatically think they had a 4.0 GPA and their parents were strict because of the way they looked. This made me want to stay away from them because I felt they were not as fun as other people. I got to actually meet an Asian boy one time and realized that is not always the case.  Prompt Response: A transfer student came in our school and from rumors we heard he was a bad guy. He got kicked out his old school and he also gang banged. This is from one story. The truth is he actually was smart and a good student. He moved so he also transferred schools.  Prompt Response: I would make sure I graduate first. I do not want to tack on debt and dropout without getting my degree. Also I would go to a college not too expensive or if I am in the metro I am going to stay home. I am earning scholarships now so that also can be a good help. Can't wait for next year.  Prompt Response: A word that resonates with me personally is nirvana. I feel I am peaceful and I cause no trouble. People also say they feel good around me. A memory I felt nirvana was the sunrise on the top of Stone Mountain. The weather was cool and everything felt so perfect. I am in love with nirvana.  Prompt Response: I needed to be cut from the freshman basketball team. I know I was snubbed and it hurt me but I used it as motivation for next year. 10th grade I made JV as a point guard. That offseason I put in a lot of work and stayed on top of my craft. After I made the 10th grade team the freshman coach looked at me and said I was unrecognizable from last year. Prompt Response: I had 3 tests in one day that I did not study for. This was at Marist so the classes were very rigorous. The night before the world did not seem real. I kept staring off thinking in my head "Is this real?" I just cut off all distractions and locked in to come back into reality. Prompt Response: Martinet is to be strict and a taskmaker. I encountered this word in middle school when my teachers were calling our schools' principal a martinet. Understanding this word helps my vocabulary grow. This can be used in writing to sound more professional. In addition, this can help me sound smarter during interviews and communication.  Prompt Response: I prefer daylight savings time. I love when the sun is out longer. This gives me a longer day to do things. I can work or stay out with my friends for an extra longer. When you are in a mood that you do not like, what are some strategies that you use to change your mood?

 Prompt Response: In a bad mood I like to eat to change my mood. I like food especially if it is a dish I enjoy. This can turn a whole 180 on me. I also like to scroll through TikTok to get my dopamine up. TikTok scrolls make me laugh so that also can change my mood. Summary: Today in class we worked on our Digital mood board.  Prompt Response: A time when I felt like I was about to lose my mind is when my teammate cause the whole team to run after practice. The practice was already long and hard to begin with. That same night I had 2 tests to study for so I wanted to leave practice and go home. Him not paying attention led the whole team to run which made me angry and changed my whole mood.  Prompt Response: My favorite word right now is goofy. I like this word because it sounds funny. I also like calling my friends and family "Goofies."
