Imagine it's the year 2050. What does the world look like? How have technology, society, and the environment changed?

 Prompt Response: Society is a lot more softer. There are flying cars and buildings 2x taller. Kids are stuck on their iPads and no one is playing outside. The environment has a lot more pollution and you can notice the oxygen being thicker. There are also robots everywhere and there are thousands of people who are unemployed. Imagine writing a letter to yourself 10 years from now. What advice, hopes, or reminders would you include?

 Prompt Response: I would tell myself to care for those around me. We only live once and being around those you love should be important. Continue to pray everyday. Keep God first because without him I am nothing. I would also write start a family with the right one.  Summary: I did as much work as I can do. Reflection: Home today was boring again. I did as much work as I can do. Hard to do work and learn when I am not in the classroom.

Describe your personal approach to creativity. What steps do you follow when you’re working on a project. Tell me about a project you created that you were most proud of.

 Prompt Response: I am not too big on creativity. I just try to make a project colorful and neat. When working on a project the steps I follow are pretty basic. I do exactly what the rubric says. I then try to add glam to the project which is the best I can do for creativity. A project I created that I was the most proud of was a shoebox ecosystem project. I turned a whole shoebox into a rainforest. Summary: I am going to complete Letters 66-70 discussion questions. Reflection: I am going to complete Letters 66-70 discussion questions. Today home was boring. Can't wait to be free.

Describe a time when you took a hiatus from something important. What led to the break, and how did it impact you?

 Prompt Response: I took a hiatus from playing basketball. I traveled to Texas to see my family and the trip was for 2 weeks. During those entire two weeks I did not play basketball. When I got back home and went to play pickup basketball I was shocked to notice an instant decline in my skills. It was harder for me to shoot and dribble. It impacted me negatively because it was hard for me to produce in game. Summary: Today I was at home doing nothing. Reflection:  Today I was at home doing nothing. I tried to do my work as best as I can while being at home.

Write about something that you heard that you wish you could unhear.

 Prompt Response: I wish I can unhear the words "You are suspended." I care about school a lot and I want to maintain a good GPA. It is important I am getting my education to the fullest. Being suspended hinders me from allowing to get a good education. I am missing out on class time and assignments. Also catching back up is difficult. Summary: Today I completed work from classes that were put online. Reflection: Today is my birthday so I am going to hang out with friends and family. Write about a moment when you felt you had the power to make a difference in someone else's life.

Prompt Response: I have a car and I drive to school everyday. My friend does not always have a means of transportation to school. Whenever he needs a ride I pick him up and take him to school. This makes a difference in his life because it allows him to get his education without worrying how to get to school. I feel this makes his life easier and makes a difference in his day. Describe a place where you feel the most at peace and explain why.

 Prompt Response: The place where I feel the most at peace is my room. My room has everything I need from snacks to games. My room is my comfort zone. It is quiet and always peaceful. I also have candles that make my room smell amazing. Overall my room has a comfortable feel to it which makes it peaceful to me. Summary: Today I am completing the discussion questions after reading a couple of letters. Reflection: Today I am completing the discussion questions after reading a couple of letters. It is cool to have snow again. I am probably going to enjoy playing in the snow.

Describe a time when someone’s words had a lasting impact on you.

 Prompt Response: My aunty my freshmen year told me "Don't follow the crowd. Be yourself." This always stuck to me. I know High school is when you meet new people and try new things. Those words had a lasting impact because I did not fall into peer pressure. I always stayed true to who I was. I never fell into the crowd, or let the crowd impact my decisions. Summary: Today I am going to complete all my missing work in this class. Reflection: School was cancelled today but I don't know why. Today I am going to complete all my missing work in this class.

Write about a time you didn’t feel like yourself.

 Prompt Response: A time where I did not feel like myself was when I went to private school. There was no diversity and it was hard to fit in. All my life I always went to public school in DeKalb. At private school I felt like I never got to express who I was. I lied a lot to fit in. I was not like those kids. Summary: Today school was boring. Reflection: Today school was boring. I was not in class today. I hope to have a good weekend

Reflect on a time when you had to rely on someone else. How did it feel?

 Prompt Response: The time I got in a bad accident I had to rely on the people outside to help me. They helped me get out the car. They called the police for me also. They checked up on me and made sure I was ok. It felt good to know I had kind people around me. Summary: Today in class we read The Color Purple and did a pop quiz. Reflection: Today in class we read The Color Purple and did a pop quiz. School today was alright. We had a fire drill which was alright.

Write about an object that holds sentimental value and why it’s important to you.

 Prompt Response: An object that holds sentimental value is my cross. I have a cross chain and I feel protected all the time. I believe in Jesus so I know I have no enemies. My religion is important to me so I express it by wearing my cross. My Crucifix chain holds sentimental value to me. Summary: Today in class we read and did an assignment. Reflection: Today in class we read The Color Purple and later worked on a relationship assignment. Today school was boring. I can't wait to go home and relax.

Write about a moment when you had to step out of your comfort zone

 Prompt Response: A moment I had to step out of my comfort zone was playing football. Everyone at my old school played football so that was how you fit in. I am not an aggressive person. I don't like to make contact so I was out my comfort zone. It ended up being fun. Summary: Today in class we read The Color Purple. Reflection: Today in class we read The Color Purple. We also made our own poems. School today was boring.

If you were President of the United States of America, what are 5 things that you would do and why?

 Prompt Response: If I was president of the United States of America 5 things I would do is make healthcare more affordable. End tension of nuclear war, make homeless shelters everywhere, make food more affordable, and lower car insurance rates for kids under 25. These are important because they make a cleaner more affordable country. America is about unity and freedom. No one in America should struggle. Summary: Today we worked on a NewsEla. Reflection: Today we worked on a Newsela. School today was boring. I can't wait to go home and relax.

Write about a dream that felt real.

 Prompt Response: A dream that felt real was when I was getting chased by a ghost. I was in the woods and the night was gloomy. I heard branches snap and all of a sudden I was getting chased. This was extremely scary. When I woke up my armpits were sweaty and I was glad it was all a dream. Summary: Today in class we read The Color Purple book. Reflection: Today in class we read The Color Purple book. The book was a great read today. Today school was boring because it was a normal Wednesday.

 Prompt Response: My holiday break was fun. I hung out with friends and family. Christmas this year was good. I also rekindled with people from my old school. One of the best winters breaks I have had so far.  1. Learn Pickelball 2. Learn how to code 3.
